A lot of information about nutrition and healthy foods is constantly flowing on the internet and the electronic media.
As they say, everything has its pros and cons, the excess flow of information doesn't mean that everything that you read/watch is true as the reality of any product can be compromised under the beauty of marketing gimmick and profits involved.
Therefore in this article, you will get to know what are some foods that you assumed to be "healthy"

  1. Corn Flakes

A lot of people think that a good bowl of corn flakes is the best thing that they can do to start their day on a healthy note, but in reality, corn flakes are the least preferred or the worst food that you should consume to start your day off as these cereals/corn flakes are so processed from there original foods sources that the end product has rarely any good nutrition left in it to offer, by which you also invite some extra dose of preservatives and artificial colors and flavors.
As the best breakfast or food in which you cook in your kitchen with whole foods, good spices, herbs and obviously with lots of love, thus try to eat more of homecooked foods and see the improvement in your health.

Better Alternative:- Oatmeal(Which again you can make delicious by customizing your oatmeal with some fruits, dry fruits, nut butter, cocoa powder, and full-fat milk)

2.Processed Meats

Went to the supermarket and added a variety of processed meats such as sausages, salami, bacon, ham to your cart, if yes then the best thing that you can do is to put these meats back on the shelf as the number of preservatives and artificial colors, flavors added in these meats is immense which is certainly not good for your body, hormones, and gut(Which mostly decides your health and wellbeing)
As regular or continuous consumption of such meats can cause various health issues and obesity in humans as well, which is why to go for such meats when you can go for freshly slaughtered meats and cook with some great spices and herbs at your house and treat yourself with good taste and nutrients.

3.Processed Peanut Butter
There are two types of peanut butter that are available in the market, one is the processed peanut butter which is a bit thick in consistency and doesn't stay in a flowing state at room temperature, as processed peanut butter is again added with hydrogenated oils, sugars and unwanted preservatives in them which allow the company to make a profit from a small batch of peanut butter.

Thus try to avoid processed peanut butter which doesn't provide you the best what peanut butter has to.

Better Alternative:- Natural peanut butter, which is always in the runny form at room temperature and has only raw peanuts on the ingredients list.
This is the peanut butter that will give you all the health benefits that peanut butter tends to offer.

4.Low Fat Dairy
Another gimmick that is running in the market is that the low-fat dairy version of milk, curd, yogurt, cheese is healthier than the full-fat version of dairy products which is as accurate and logical as the earth is "flat"
As low-fat/fat-free foods can contain up to 10% more calories and 40% more sugar. Fat usually equates to flavor, so when fat is removed, the flavor is lost. Companies add additional flavors and sugar to make up for the fat loss
Therefore the better alternative to low-fat products is your old full-fat dairy products.

5.Salad Dressings

All you need to make a healthy salad dressing is a little Extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice. There is no need for additional preservatives, flavorings, or salts.

Therefore these are some foods which sounds healthy but in reality, they are quite fat from the word "healthy"

Also if you think that this article added some value to your knowledge/life then please share and support this article, so that I can go for full-fat dairy products 🤧
