First of all, what is Testosterone?

It is a male primary sex hormone that enables and distinguish males from females like heavy voice, more muscle mass, facial and body hair, etc.

It is the primary hormone that is responsible for muscle mass gain in males and more masculine nature in males due to the presence of this hormone, it also gives the male its sex drive and libido.

Also, it is present in females as well but in a very low amount, which is the main reason that females cant gets muscle like males due to no presence of this hormone.

The hormone testosterone along with many others is produced from cholesterol, so if you are actively trying to control your fat intake, that could be your problem right there.

the next thing you need to do is ensure you are consuming the right ones. There are numerous types of fats, such as:

  • Monounsaturated Fats (MUF)
  • Polyunsaturated Fats (PUF)
  • Saturated Fats (SF)
  • Partially Hydrogenated “trans” Fats.

Of the types mentioned above, monounsaturated and saturated fats are the ones you should focus on.

Avocadoes are one of the very few fruits that are extremely high in fat, with over 70% of their fat content being the monounsaturated (MUFAs) that we need, while also having 16% saturated fats and just 13% polyunsaturated fats.

What this means is that regular consumption of avocados can help to boost your testosterone levels owing to their abundance of MUFAs.

So yes avocados surely help you to increase and boost your testosterone levels.

As I live in India where avocados are not easily available, thus we Indians go for Desi ghee(What you guys call clarified butter) and white butter to get good fats in our diet.

Thanks For Reading!!
