Ghee is treated or considered as a superfood in Ayurveda and in the Indian way of eating food but sadly due to the influence of some west medical organizations who are never clear of their own studies changes the mind of some Indian people that ghee is bad or fattening or causes health issue.

Anything which you will go binge on or not maintain the key of moderation can harm your body,

But now coming to the benefits that Desi ghee has and why it is a crucial part of the Indian diet from Years,

  1. It is great for digestion of food, adding ghee in your food helps to boost digestion.
  2. Helps to remove toxins and balance the pitta(Heat) element of our body by reducing it
  3. Desi ghee helps in Weight loss, Now many of you would be wondering how Desi ghee is made up of Short-chain fatty acids which are the type of saturated fat present in desi ghee which thus helps in boosting body metabolism and lose some of the stubborn body fat(Keeping in mind that you are in a calorie deficit)
  4. Desi ghee has a high smoking point which is that it doesn’t get burnt very easily or quickly while cooking than other oils like olive, which is the oil that gets burn easily tend to release free radical in the oil at high temperatures.
  5. Desi ghee helps to balance the body hormones
  6. It helps to boost immunity and strengthen the bone density of our body
  7. Desi ghee is good for your heart, Hair, and skin due to the presence of good fats and vital nutrients.

Thus these are some reasons why you should include desi ghee in your diet.

Also, make sure that you purchase or consume a good quality desi ghee since in desi ghee also there is a lot of additive of unwanted items which has decreased the quality of the product by contaminating it, thus try to purchase a good quality desi ghee.

Also, apart from eating you can also apple desi ghee to your body for massage as well.
